Marhaba! I am currently writing this while watching the Australian Open. The Australian Open, for those of you who don't know, is a major tournament in tennis. While I was watching this, it occurred to me that hitting a tennis ball would be really satisfying. I have so many things going on right now such as studying for the spelling bee at the district level, practicing for a piano test, and, of course, blogging. Maybe I need to take my own advice from my last post? So coming back to the spelling bee, I have a funny tale to tell. At my school, they put mine and the other winner's names up on the bulletin board to wish us luck for the district spelling bee. However, they misspelled the word 'congratulations'. I do really appreciate the thought though. It's great to be encouraged and cheered on at the district bee so I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Oliveira Elementary. I just thought this was funny and decided to share it with y'all. Make sure to hit that 'follow' button to show your support, and follow me on Google+. Gotta go, candy hearts!

The Science of Stress
Bom Dia! On this day in history, I had to turn in my science fair project that my partner and I had worked on since last year. This project definitely caused her some stress, so I've put together a few hacks and tips for when you are stressed.
1) Sip on green tea. I actually do this almost every night before bed. And it works! The science behind this is that there is a chemical in green tea which soothes nerves.
2) Eat chocolate. This also has a chemical similar to the tea which calms nerves. So now you have a legitimate reason to stress eat!
3) Squeeze, then relax. This method is called progressive relaxation, and it's proven to help you sleep too! Just start with any part of your body. Squeeze it and release. Then, work your way around.
4) Brush your hair. Apparently, repetitive motions help you center yourself.
5) Go outside. You can smell the flowers and fresh air, socialize with friends, or meditate on a walk. Just take a break when you need it.
6) Write. It can be a blog, diary, or even music, but writing will help you feel like you are relieving yourself of burdens.
For more great tips, visit my friend Bubbles' blog at atweenschitterchatter.blogspot.com. thanks for reading, and come back on Tuesday!

Anecdote hour; 04-09-2016
Woof! So today I thought of starting a new series on my blog called "Anecdote Hour." I will be sharing important or striking experiences of mine (anecdotes, if you will.). This particular post is about how I got my dog. He is in my profile picture, for those of you who didn't know. And his name is Casper.
It all started when we moved to our new house. The great thing was that we could have a dog in this new house, but then came the choice; which one. So literally as soon as we moved we tried fostering a Labrador named Polo. Bad idea. Not only was our house a little small for a Lab, we still had boxes laying around. Unfortunately, we couldn't keep him. This was in February.
After I hoped and prayed for two months, it happened. One Friday, after school, both my parents came to pick me up. I immediately knew something was up. They took me to the shelter to show me two dogs. One was Casper (then Teddy) and a white poodle named Sam. There really was no choice, though. Teddy was the cutest, bestest dog ever! On Sunday he was ours.
On a completely unrelated note, I just found out you need a blogger account to follow any blogs. It's really simple to make, though. If you have a Google account, just go to Blogger.com and sign in with your Google account. Then you can create your own account and follow my blog too! Make sure to comment your link down below if you decide to create a blog, and thanks for reading. Adios!

Things You Should Do In Your Life
Ciao! Today I will be sharing 5 things you should do in my opinion. I definitely want to do some of these things, and comment down below if you do too. So lets go!
- Take a trip to Europe.
- I definitely want to do this since Europe has many destinations and lots of history. Everyone can find something there. My grandparents have been on a tour in Europe and they would surely recommend it!
- Donate a large amount to charity.
- Obviously I am not old enough to do this yet, but if you are successful, think about giving some back to society.
- Try a sport you have never tried.
- We all know the benefits of sports, so try something new like horseback riding. You might like it! Or you might break a bone. So good luck! (LOL)
- Start a blog!
- Seriously. Do this. You can blog anonymously or publicly and its fun to share your personality with the Internet!
If you made it this far, gracias! If you plan to do any of this stuff, make sure to comment down below. Also, follow me on Google+, Pinterest, and subscribe to this blog. Bye!

I'm Bored of Being Bored 'Cuz Being Bored is BORING!
Since I have, like, nothing planned for another 20 minutes, I will be writing about a few things my friends have been requesting. So let's do that. Yay (If you can't tell my voice is dripping with sarcasm).
My friend Snow Fox wanted me to write about our trip to Mendocino last year. Wait, make that 2 years ago. Comment down below if you still think its 2016 sometimes. So anyway, we went there over Thanksgiving break together. When we got there our first priority was lunch, but there was nowhere to go. None of the restaurants were open since they were all cooking in preparation for Thanksgiving dinner, and since Mendocino is a small beach town, there were no McDonalds or anything for miles. But eventually we did find a few places that were open such as this slider place. The food wasn't great, but the next day we found this cafe that had the best granola I have ever tasted. We also got to see cool sights such as the glass beach! So the trip was actually really fun.
I would like to give a shout out to Vihart, who is a really cool Youtuber who makes math fun. She has content such as what to do when you are bored in class and much more. Her channel is linked right here. GTG you guys, so bye!
