Reasons Why I Became a Vegetarian

I went vegetarian last summer and everyone in my family asks me why. Let's set it straight; here's why.

  • I wanted to save little animal's lives. And for people who counter this with "well you're killing plants," I can't argue. But I need to eat something, so this is the best I can do.
  • Being vegetarian is actually cheaper, and some studies show that it is healthier too!
  • It is better for the planet to be vegetarian because you contribute less to global warming and deforestation. ASAPScience has a great video on that right here:

It was hard at first to be vegetarian, but it was much easier with a buddy (my dad). It also helps to eat at a place with phenomenal veggie options; we were at a resort. Finally, do not attempt being vegetarian without knowing how much it really takes. Starting and not being able to follow through could be discouraging. Oh yeah. Get your protein. And check food labels. And all the cliche advice.

      Ciao, Candies

  1. Good decision Nandy. Vegdtarians are less prone to diseases and non vegetarians are prone to more diseases. And vegetarians are more quiet and less prone to b hot tempered So they are better behaved
